The EEA Awards are back for 2024!
Get your entries in by Friday 16 August, and help share expert knowledge in the field of workplace safety, public safety and engineering excellence.
Or nominate someone you think is deserving of a Meritorious Service Award or our new Excellence in Health and Safety Leadership Award
The EEA Awards programme is also your chance to gain valuable professional development and experience with the Professional Development Award or as our Young Engineer of the Year.
The Awards programme is open to all individual EEA members and staff of corporate members.
Entries close Friday 16 August. Winners will be announced on Thursday 12 September at Conference.
The Awards
New this year!! The Excellence in Health and Safety Leadership award will recognise an individual who demonstrates outstanding leadership, commitment and excellence to improve health and safety outcomes for industry.
The Workplace Safety Award is seeking initiatives that demonstrate excellence in health and safety including achievement or contribution to workplace safety by an organisation or individual.
The Public Safety Award is seeking initiatives that demonstrate excellence in fostering public awareness and education about electricity safety and safety around electricity supply assets
The Engineering Excellence Award is seeking initiatives that demonstrate excellence in the development of new infrastructure or the improvement of existing infrastructure within the New Zealand electricity supply industry.
The Professional Development Award supports the attendance of someone at an overseas course, conference or other professional development opportunity.
The Meritorious Service Award is agreed by the EEA Executive Committee and recognises a person who has made an outstanding contribution to the electricity supply industry in New Zealand or overseas.
