Greg Saul is a nationally recognised geotechnical engineer with expertise in landslides, slope stability and stabilisation, and innovative geotechnical design of transportation projects.  He is a Technical Principal, Geotechnical Engineering at WSP, and is widely recognised in the industry for his expertise, leadership and collaboration.

He has made a significant contribution to the profession, industry and society through response and recovery after the 2010-2011 Canterbury earthquakes and 2016 Kaikoura earthquake, with immediate response to restore services, and recovery of schools, roads and water supply.  Greg has led geotechnical engineering as part of the North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery alliance (NCTIR), developing significant innovations and smart solutions to restore access
