\t\t\t The Australian Society for Operations Research is the premier professional organisation for academics and practitioners working in optimisation and related disciplines of Operations Research.<\/p>\n As we did in 2016, we will be seeking to have both Extended Abstracts and Full Papers (peer reviewed), with the latter published as a monograph by Springer and indexed accordingly.<\/p>\n Authors of Full Papers must complete the\u00a0Copyright Form<\/a><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0(**updated form to come) for their papers to appear in Springer\u2019s Proceedings.<\/p>\n One registration, either student or regular, covers one paper.<\/p>\n The registrant of a paper is expected to attend the conference and present the work. If co-authors attend the conference, they should register separately<\/p>\n We are pleased to call for papers for our National Conference, to be held at Rydges Hotel, Melbourne. <\/strong><\/p>\n We welcome papers in all areas of Operations Research, including (but not limited to):<\/p>\n OR Techniques\/Methodologies<\/strong><\/p>\n OR Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n The conference will include two types of submissions: Extended Abstracts and Full-Papers. Each Extended Abstract or Full Paper will be peer reviewed by at least two referees selected by a program committee.\u00a0 (ie., a session chair or co-chair).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of:<\/p>\n Authors should submit their extended abstracts and full papers through the online system on this website. All extended abstracts, and the abstracts for full papers,\u00a0will be distributed at the conference.\u00a0 We are in the final stages of arranging for the Full papers to be published by Springer, in a second volume of Data and Decision Sciences in Action (where the first volume contained the full papers from our 2016 ASOR\/DORS National Conference) under the Lecture Notes in Management and Industrial Engineering (LNMIE) series.<\/p>\n Full papers should not exceed 12 pages LNMIE format.
