CALL FOR PAPERS
Read the full guidelines and instructions below.
The Australian Society for Operations Research is the premier professional organisation for academics and practitioners working in optimisation and related disciplines of Operations Research.
As we did in 2016, we will be seeking to have both Extended Abstracts and Full Papers (peer reviewed), with the latter published as a monograph by Springer and indexed accordingly.
Authors of Full Papers must complete the Copyright Form (**updated form to come) for their papers to appear in Springer’s Proceedings.
One registration, either student or regular, covers one paper.
The registrant of a paper is expected to attend the conference and present the work. If co-authors attend the conference, they should register separately
We are pleased to call for papers for our National Conference, to be held at Rydges Hotel, Melbourne.
We welcome papers in all areas of Operations Research, including (but not limited to):

Submissions and Publications
Authors should submit their extended abstracts and full papers through the online system on this website. All extended abstracts, and the abstracts for full papers, will be distributed at the conference. We are in the final stages of arranging for the Full papers to be published by Springer, in a second volume of Data and Decision Sciences in Action (where the first volume contained the full papers from our 2016 ASOR/DORS National Conference) under the Lecture Notes in Management and Industrial Engineering (LNMIE) series.
Instructions to Authors
Full papers should not exceed 12 pages LNMIE format. Authors should submit their full papers according to Springer’s format (template files for MS Word or LaTeX).
