He obtained his PhD in Crop Physiology from Lincoln University in 1999. \u00a0Bruce leads the P&amp;F R Vegetable and Onion research programmes with work that focus on developing profitable production and improved environmental outcomes for these crop production systems. He also leads work investigating the implications of plant and spatial variability for sustainability of production, improved yield and quality.
